Terms of service is updated from time to time without notice to you.  The link for the latest terms of service is found at the lower part of every page.

We use your email address is never released to any third party except by court order.

Your email address is used to send you updates about the site, notifications of private mail waiting or notifications of new items being posted to the categories you have selected or other services we provide which you have subscribed. At no time is your email address released to the public unless you make it available in your posts or other by means.

We reserve the right to reject and/or modify any tips, recommendations, or tip wanted posts.

This is an English language site and all postings must be in English.

We cannot accept copyrighted material. If  your post comes from a book, web site or other copyrighted media, please do not post here.

Members who have been found to post COPYRIGHTED material (based on U.S Law) will forfeit any prizes and their membership dissolved.

We do not accept adult oriented materials nor tips that can be construed as illegal such as but not limited to, tips that would circumvent copy protection or assist piracy.  The content of tips should not offend a child, as this is a family oriented site.

You agree to give HintsAndTips perpetual, irrevocable, world-wide, non-exclusive and royalty free license to use, publish, distribute, reproduce, modify, publicly display and to incorporate into other works in any format, all your posts on this site.

You must be over the age of 13 years old to have an account on HintsAndTips.com.

You may only have one HintsAndTips accounts per person of 13 years of age or older.  Violators will have their accounts dissolved and forfeit all prizes and referrals.

You must be 18 years or older and reside in the United States to win prizes.

Members must sign in to HintsAndTips.com at least once very 180 days to maintain their membership.  Memberships are dissolved on the 180th consecutive day the member has not sign into the system and all prizes and referrals will be forfeited.  Tips posted by the member will continue to exist in the archive.

Any member using SPAM (unsolicited email or other forms of unsolicited communication), web site popup ads or other abusive practices to promote HintsAndTips and/or build referrals, will forfeit all prizes earned, all referrals and have their membership dissolved.
